Row 2 and all even rows: * K1, p8, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 3: * P1, 2/2RC, 2/2LC, p1; rep from * to end.
Row 5: * P1, k8, p1; rep from * to end.
Row 7: * P1, 2/2RC, 2/2LC, p1; rep from * to end.
Row 9: * P1, k8, p1; rep from * to end.
Row 11: * P1, 2/2LC, 2/2RC, p1; rep from * to end.
Row 13: * P1, k8, p1; rep from * to end.
Row 15: * P1, 2/2LC, 2/2RC, p1; rep from * to end.
Repeat Rows 1 - 16.

Abbreviations:
2/2 LC: Slip 2 sts to CN and hold in front, K2, then K2 from CN.
